Have you ever been scouring internet forums and searching for some technical assistance with an issue confronting you, only to see time and again possably “relevant” threads closed with no useful resolution shared. Now if the basis of that confronting issue is Dyslexia ) : let me tell you, the struggle to persist on the battlefield of the written word can seem insurmountable.

So here I am having lived 63 years with Dyslexia, continuing with my attempt to establish this project [CAVE] aimed at utilizing some fairly sophisticated yet open source IT resources for the benefit of local communities.

Why would I even dream of creating a website for myself let alone have visions of a new way to serve society if Dyslexia causes such hardship for me?

There are many aspects to this journey / adventure that I hope will eventually come together, bringing a more integrated sense of wonder and value to the lives we share with those around us. The concept has been brewing for some time now. WordPress Meetups have been amoung the great encouragements over the years, with regular social gatherings that allowed friendships to grow even before I embarked on experimenting with site building at all.

Recently getting access to all the Kadence pro bundle features and some well appointed hosting proved still not quite enough to allow my site to easily serve viewers Open Dyslexic font face. The one reading and writing aid that has significantly eased the effort I must sustain to progress this project.

But today a workable answer came to me… And the solution was …“Use any font” no really, using this plugin from the WordPress plugin directory has allowed me ( : by the one free font insertion ‘Lite option’ : ) what I truly needed to make this site creation viable: Uncomplicated accessibility. With much further testing and project development ahead of me, I may just be looking to pay a debt of gratitude to the authors of ‘Use Any Font’ .
