About Project CAVE
To begin with the focus for CAVE will be towards Three Dimensional art forms such as sculpture, jewellery, pottery and so forth, in various materials, from ceramic and glass to metal, wood even fabric and fibre creations. Why…because these forms of art have been less easy to display in small venue settings than paintings and other two dimensional works. That is not to say the latter or creators of them would be unwelcome in the project going forward. In short if it’s original local art of a good visual nature you may find CAVE taking a look at it ( :
Yes, It is the aim of project CAVE to share and celebrate the abundance of original creativity living right in the local area, to that end, no mass produced items will be shown or offered for sale here. Some artisans may make limited editions, but with hand crafting techniques .
